This is my number one passion as a healthcare provider! I am a member of the Obesity Medicine Association and spend countless hours studying obesity medicine.
I am excited to offer one-on-one and in-depth care for those with obesity and excess weight. Trust me, I know the struggle is real as I too struggle with obesity after two pregnancies, a life of being a bookworm and a love of all things carbs & chocolate. We are on this journey together.
Medical weight loss includes the remote monitoring of vital signs & labs as well as individualized nutrition counseling, exercise prescriptions, and medication management with on and off-label use of FDA approved medications.
Many insurance companies do not cover medical weight loss, and if they do, they do not cover many of the medications that can be used to lower weight. Because this practice only accepts cash I have negotiated significant savings on many weight loss medications and I pass these savings on to you!
I am committed to helping you be the best version of yourself. I am beyond excited to partner with you in a healthcare model that truly allows me the time and medical freedom to take care of you. Historically, in the clinic setting, I have not been able to take the time to truly counsel patients on weight loss, provide nutrition & exercise prescriptions or even prescribe safe & effective weight loss medications. Why? You guessed it, insurance.

In this phase the focus is on active weight loss. During the first month of treatment we will meet weekly (or as needed) via Telehealth video visits. These appointments will typically be one-hour in length.
After the first month, appointments will typically occur every 2-4 weeks depending on your individual needs. These appointments will also be conducted via Telehealth video visits and will be about 30 minutes in length. These visits will focus on:
This is the most challenging phase of weight loss - keeping it off. And because obesity is a chronic disease it requires ongoing monitoring and support like any other chronic disease.
