Direct primary care (DPC) is a practice model that gets back to the basics of healthcare. Just you and your provider - no third party involvement from annoying insurance companies that dictate the care you receive and when you can receive it. DPC is a comprehensive primary care model that focuses on accessible and affordable care. 

While we do not accept insurance, we still recommend you have it, just in case. You may need it in case of an emergency, hospitalization, surgery or to see a specialist. Please note that membership does not equate insurance and is not meant to replace insurance. 

The quick and dirty answer is remote primary care needs ranging from acute illness to chronic disease management. Alicia's passion is in preventative care and maintaining healthy habits. 

Yes! At time of enrollment, all members will be given my personal cell phone number and email address. You will then be able to message whenever needed. 

A Nurse Practitioner is a Nurse who has gone back to school to obtain advanced education. Like a Medical Doctor, a Nurse Practitioner is able to evaluate, diagnosis and treat patients. Alicia has always worked in full-practice authority states and has been able to manage complex patient panels upwards of 1,000 patients.  Alicia is an independent provider, she does not work under, or for another provider. Alicia is able to call herself 'Doctor' as she has obtained her Doctorate degree in nursing. But she prefers that you just call her Alicia - she's super informal.

Long answer: The reason for this, is when you become a member you have unlimited access to me, meaning you can text, call and email without any additional fees. I can also offer savings on medications & labs. I am committed to establishing a relationship with you and am looking for commitment from you in helping you achieve your best health.
